SBER added seats to the top of the Green Monster in Phase One

In 2002, The Boston Red Sox chose Struever Bros. Eccles & Rouse, Inc. to be the Program Manager for the $100 million plus renovation of the oldest and best-loved baseball park in the major leagues. From construction to development, SBER has been involved on all fronts of the Boston Red Sox projects. The total rehabilitation and renovation of Fenway Park will be complete by 2012, just in time for the ballpark to celebrate its 100th birthday!

AROUND THE BALLPARK

In addition to the renovations at the ballpark, SBER is focused on the neighborhood that surrounds Fenway Park. The Red Sox are hoping to ensure the historic scale of the immediate area, maintain views to the popular landmark Citgo sign, enhance public transit, and improve parking.

POPULAR CHANGES TO THE BALLPARK

  • Yawkey Way is now "inside the turnstiles area."
  • 284 new seats have been built atop the famed 37' high left field wall known as the Green Monster.
