Winston-Salem, North Carolina is exploding with innovative research and technology advancements being lead by a collaboration of commercial, educational, and government stakeholders. The Piedmont Triad Research Park (PTRP) is the epicenter of the State's commitment to technology advancement, located east of downtown Winston-Salem PTRP is a 240 acre research campus that is being developed and managed by Wake Forest University Health Sciences. The PTRP is more than just an office park, it is an innovative mix of business, research, education, residences, retail and recreation.
SBER has been selected as the lead developer of the North Campus of the Piedmont Triad Research Park. SBER's goal is to create a sustainable, mixed-use destination that residents of Winston-Salem and the Triad area will enjoy. SBER will transform 1.1 million square feet of the R.J. Reynolds Historic Tobacco Warehouses into an urban live-work-play community with WFUHS as the primary driver. Incorporated into the space will be medical laboratory and research space, a variety of residential options, and commercial space.
